THe Ram has locations in seven states. Growing from a small pub many years ago to a well known Brew pub.

Richly decorated it can be considered casual to dress-up and no one feels out of place. The Ram in Salem has its one Brewing in the building. and often Mike Paladino, head brewer, can be seen practicing his trade through the windows that grace the back wall behind the bar.

Standard brews on tap are Big Horn Hefeweizen, Buttface Amber Ale, Big red, Big Horn Blonde, Total Disorder Porter, 71 Pale Ale, along with one of four seasonals

Brews can be purchased in several sizes to take home.

This Brewery is upscale with Dark wood grove walls. They have Neon signs for all their beers. They also have many flat screen TV's. The sampler tray was a Ram Horn design and very cool. The samplers were in a 3 oz. size glasses. The Blonde Ale had a moderate hop bitterness. The Hefe was a traditional with banana and clove and moderate hop bitterness. The 71 Pale Ale was much like Sierra Nevada's. They have late night specials starting at 9pm to midnight with a different special each night. The IPA was made with Amarillo hops, bitter but not American C type hops. The Buttface Amber is like a brown Ale. They have home made chips called Ram chips that were great. They also had an excellent Maibock and a very good crab artichoke sandwich. I would definately go back if in the area again!
