This is a little gem of a place right on the inner harbor in Scheveningen. They brew on premise in a brewery smaller than many people's homebrew stations. But they use an funky/cool old copper kettle that sits right smack in the middle of the cafe. Basically, their whole brewing area is in the middle of the cafe.I've never been there while the brewer is busy, but he seems to keep it pretty clean.
Beers are Belgian-inspired and often changing because the batches are so small. I had the Frisse Wind (Fresh Wind) a funky Saison style that I liked so much, I came back for more. They also have a large selection of bottled beers mainly from Europe.
Haven't tried the food, but the whole area is surrounded by amazing fish restaurants and snack shacks...you won't go hungry. Small terrace where you can smoke.
