linkIf you are anywhere near Munich you must stop at this monastery brewery. We just happened to stop the day they were having a festival and we had a BLAST! I had the biggest pretzels I have ever seen and the beer was great. The church and monastery are on an a hill in the countryside outside of Munich. We enjoyed the tour and the liter glasses of their brew in the large beer garten. It was a great way to interact with the locals and enjoy good german food and excellent german beer. I wish I could get their beers in the states. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Germany.
