Overall I've enjoyed my experiences at John Harvards. My last trip, I ordered the Green Island Stout and it was dead flat. No head whatsoever. I was very dissapointed. I also had the Deutschland Dunkel (German Dark Lager) and it was great. Great head, very aromatic and had a very hoppy bite to it. I try to get over there at least once a month to try new brews. The food is great and most of the time the service is too. Most of the servers are knowledgeable about the beers but there are a few who know nothing. The bartenders were great, knowledgeable and friendly. For you newcomers, they can most of the time offer a comparison to a macro-brewed beer so you can get an idea of what the beer is going to be like. Overall, I give JH's 2 thumbs up.
