linkWas there last summer during our annual Myrtle Beach family vacation. We watched the World Cup Championship game and loved it. Beer selection was outstanding. A lot of local brews, great seasonal selection, and some regional brews as well.
Not close the beach, which is good since you don't get the "beach, under 25" crowd. If you plan on taking in the beer with friends, have a DD because you might want to try their vast selection. They offer samples of whatever you would like. I believe they are free but if you want more than 1, then they charge for a set of flights. Like 5 or 6 bucks for say 5 glasses of any beer.
I only had one of Liberty's own beer, their porter. I thought is was great. I paired it steamed clams, which may have improved the taste of the beer, so on it's own, I can't really judge the beer. I don't think you could go wrong with ANY of their house brews.
OH. This place DOESN"T brew on premise. Their brewery is located at Off Broadway. You can find them on this site, beermapping.
Every year, this place and their brewery will be a stop for our vacation.
