BruRm is a bar that primarily serves craft brewed creations of Brewer Jeff Browning, and from all indications, he is a man who knows beer and brewing. The beer is truly excellent and the staff is trained to be able to speak with authority about any of the creations available on tap. Give the Toasted Blonde a try if you like a good tasty brew. If you want a bottle of standard domestic or imported beer, you can have that too, but with the selection of craft beers available, I'd have to ask why.

It is in CT, so smoking is not permitted indoors, but there are some places where you can jump outside and be somewhat protected from the elements.

If you're hungry, some of the best pizza in New Haven (and New Haven has some of the best in the world) is available. Seating can be tough on the busy nights.

As for parking, there is no parking attached to the bar itself, but there are plenty of garages and lots in the nearby area.

The atmosphere changes depending on the time of year, day, and time you go into the bar. It is attached to a club, so if you like to dance, it's a great place at night. If you want to grab an early dinner, it's excellent too, with the pizza being outstanding. If you want to swing in for a couple on an afternoon, it's a regular bar.
