This brewery is in downtown Poughkeepsie. Its not the nicest area. The parking lot was full so I had to drive around the block a couple of times to find a space and eventually settled on a shady looking municipal lot.

The brewery itself is a nice building that almost seems out of place. There's a big bar, and a decent amount of dine in eating space.

I tried the sampler of 5 beers:
Derailleur - A dark beer, but not heavy. I liked it.
Kilt Spinner - Oak aged scottish ale. Rather potent, but good.
Oktoberfest - This wasn't my favorite because it tasted a bit strange for an oktoberfest.
Pale Ale - Typical pale ale.
Queen City Cream Ale - Very light, seems like it'd be a refreshing beer on a hot day.

The servers were also really friendly. I thought it was a bit expensive - the taster, an empty pint glass, and a small appetizer came out to $32.
