linkOn a bend in the road in a picturesque corner of the Dingle peninsula sits Tig Bhric, one of those Irish pubs that's nearly a community centre as well as a watering hole. The barroom is quite large, with charmingly mismatched (but comfy) furniture and an open fire. There's a shop and overnight accommodation on site as well.
Where the difference lies with countless other rural Irish pubs is the nearby Beoir Chorca Duibhne brewery, keeping the pub supplied with cask ale. There's also a conscientiously chosen bottled beer list, featuring Duvel, Brooklyn Lager and similar good-quality go-to beer, plus occasional appearances from Irish craft breweries too.
The service and welcome from proprietors Adrienne and Paul can't be faulted.
There's food until 5pm and it's a short walk around to the village of Ballyferriter.
