Les 3 Brasseurs is a chain of franchise brewpubs spread throughout France, though concentrated in the north-east near the Belgian border. This branch caters for the vast numbers of English tourists who nip across the Channel on the Eurotunnel to fill their cars with cases of cheap drink. The Cité Europe shopping mall contains several stores where this can be done, and this place to sit over a beer and a pancake when you're done.

I'd go so far as to say the flammekueche pancakes are more of a specialité than the beer is, and they're certainly better quality. I found all four house beers -- blonde, blanche, ambrée and brune -- rather off in the flavour department. Service is decent, though the atmosphere, funnily enough, is that of a shopping mall.

Still: wow! It's a shopping mall with a brewery in it! Don't come here for the beer, but if you're here, have a beer here.
