This is the only brewery in Montana that I've tried several of their beers and I don't like. The quality--more like lack of flavor--of beers they produce is on par with the likes of Anheuser Busch and MillerCoors. They certainly give craft beer a bad name. They can do better, but I think they found their target customer. You can give them a try, but avoid the Black Star.

Stopped during our tour of Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western Montana and Western Wyoming regions. As we visited all the National Parks and Breweries summer 2004. This was a fun place to visit and we had a great time trying a few brews. There was not much for food so we did not get any. Was full of the locals which made you feel not welcome but getting behind the bar and pouring I was at home. The huckleberry brew was pretty good and we liked the Hefe.
