Nestled off the main drag of suburban sprawl, this Binny's looms ominous from the parking lot. Stuck on the angular corner of a satellite shopping mall next to another mall...

Inside the doors, all the way back towards the right, first aisles (43-45) are import 6-packs and a few gift sets with glassware. Unibroue is split up between these aisles, and 750s in another aisle further down. Alot of German sixers, some Belgian options like Duvel & Duchesse 4-packs.

Keep going back past some floorspace for cases, and the next aisle you come to are seasonals. Lots of Festbiers and Pumpkin options, mixed import domestic. At least 20-25 options! Next aisle is Belgian 750s/singles on the left (Hanssens Oude Gueuze, Fantome Hiver, Duchesse), then craft bombers on the right. Some good small-batch stuff like 3F Behemoth and Founders Blushing Monk. Across from these are the German, British, Euro singles.

Next two aisles closest to coolers are exclusively US craft, many options grouped by brewery. Alot of 3F, Sprecher, Founders, and GI Reserve line, plus many others. Smaller craft selection in coolers. Shelf talkers with some RB ratings and "in cooler" or "on sale" notes. Certain dwindling Belgians were located on a small stand near the coolers, including a bunch of De Dolle Export Stout. A few more random ones were also on an endcap by the registers. Wondering if these will be phased out here.

Service was exceptional due to the fact that they hunted down a couple things I asked about, and were happy to talk about beer. The beer manager was really helpful with release info. on certain beers as well. Checkout was friendly.

The location is out of the way for me, but when i'm travelling in the SW burbs, i'll be stopping again. One of the better suburban stores of the chain, 2nd to Glen Ellyn.

Unbelievable selection of beers at this store. Having recently moved back to the US, from the UK, I was astonished at the selection of Belgian, British, German, beers. Quite possible one of the best selections available in the Chicagoland area. Binny's has a number of locations, so check their website to see if there's one closer. This is the closest one to me (in NW Indiana), but it's worth the trip. I've only been there once, but I plan on becoming a regular, to satiate my need for good (Belgian) beer.
