Now Crossbones Tavern, this is a small place with an impressive bottle selection for a college hangout. Right next to the ECU campus, the crowd was surprisingly slim...but school had just ended for the year.

The atmosphere is cozy with a bar that seats 15 or so as well as tables around the sides and in the middle. A large stage occupies a bit too much room for such a small space and the acoustics aren't very good so I'm sure performances are deafening.

Service is friendly and fast but the food is so so. Granted I only had a chef salad but the croutons and egg were missing.
