As a native South Sider, I'll be the first to admit that good beer is hard to come by down here. Fortunately, Town Liquors has really upped their game the past couple years. Aside from the usual suspects (Sam Adams, Leinie's, Goose Island, etc.) they carry the likes of Capital, O'Fallon, Mendocino and Dogfish Head among others. They've also recently increased their selection of bombers, offering seasonals from breweries including Lagunitas and Left Hand. Their one weakness is imports. Most of their imports are Euro-lagers, though they do offer a few quality selections such as Young's and Delirium Tremens. All things considered, Town Liquor has made a concerted effort to up their craft beer game, and I encourage anybody in the neighbor to stop in and show their support by picking up a sixer or two.
