On a recent stop here, the service was lacking and the food seemed like standard bar food, or worse. I was disturbed when I saw the poor condition of the bathroom. I can only imagine what the condition of the kitchen was. I would not stop here again and I would not recommend it.

If you don't know where the Moosehead Grill is located, you certainly won't find it. The place is dark outside and I never saw any sort of a sign. It is located in an old Pizza Hut building and has a front area with outdoor seating. Inside the place allows smoking everywhere, but must have some sort of a smoke eater setup since my clothes did not even show the slightest hint of odor.

As you walk in you can sit anywhere and the place has a vibe of a dive bar and sports bar rolled into one. All the TVs are set to the same program so the game you hope to watch better be the one everyone else wants to watch. I didn't see a real beer listing, but they have about 14 on tap. Two are crap, but the rest are pretty well chosen. I didn't see a bottle listing either, so the only choices may be draft.

The food was very inexpensive. No entree on the menu exceeds $9 and the portions are generous. The salad was ok, the burger was good, but the cream of tomato soup was outstanding, especially when accompanied by a HopSlam. The service was very good.

I'll certainly return, good food, good beer, great service!
