I was excited when I saw that the Beer Army Outpost was open and went in to take a look, it is very nice they had about 10 beers on tap plus one nitro and one on cast. I was glad to see that they did not have a single standard old pint glass that you normally get in so many places. They actually have proper glassware for your brew. I know it has not been open long as they had several taps that were not being used. The brews they had were fresh and very tasty. They said that the cask beer might be a little on the warm side but I thought it was just right. So you can enjoy a brew while you pick what beers you want to take home. We had a couple brews and walked around the store shopping with glee. Needles to say the more you drink while there the more you buy. Great marketing. The shelves were not full so I am sure more inventory will arrive soon. If you are in New Bern be sure to give the place a look see. note the map locator is showing the store on 70 west but it is not 70 east (south of New Bern)
