This place has amazing selection. The menu is segmented by type of beer (and there are plenty of types represented). There is lots of seating. There is an outdoor patio area that has tv's that are great for watching sports. Great place after hanging out at LA Live or before/after a movie at the Regal.
As for food - the Bernaise Sliders are amazing. I am sure that are other delicious options as well. I definitely recommend Yard House!

Visited Yard House while I was staying at the JW for the weekend. The beer list is impressive, with a number of taps and bottled beers. They have the beers sorted out by type, with origin listed next to the name which is nice.

One point of irritation was that they listed two beers on the menu that they did not have in stock (or did not carry, was not clear). I thought once probably meant they were just out, which is fine. But when it happened twice I started questioning just how many were truly in stock (or how often they kept an up to date menu). So I would give the selection a greater score, but I question how many they truly do offer.

The food was fine. The variety was pretty good, the execution was fine. Not top notch, but no where near terrible.

Probably the most impressive beer bar I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. Their webpage says something to the effect of "most beers on tap in the world." I thought, well, just more L.A. hype. I was wrong; they truly have an amazing array of taps. At least 100 taps from around the world. Mainly featuring American craft beer, though plenty of Belgians, a few Germans, Czech, etc.

The ambiance (and food) is kind of a large Wolfgang Puck's with this enormous, bifurcated and oval shaped bar in the middle. Food was excellent. Bartenders were knowledgeable about the beers, prompt, and responsive.

In short, I couldn't have been more impressed. Went back the next night--too many beers to sample. Pretty reasonably priced all around.
