Located on Main Street in West Bend, this brewpub opened in October 2005. I really liked the place. It has an upscale dining facility on the main floor with the bar in the center. There is matching décor in the downstairs area. There’s also outside seating that overlooks the Milwaukee River. This isn’t too scenic a view this time of year but the expected development on the other side of the river (in a couple years) will definitely improve the view. We had the 8 beer sampler which included 8 a honey ale, weiss beer, amber ale, stout, cherry twist ale, Oktoberfest, their light legacy beer, and a pumpkin ale. Although I’m not a fruit beer guy, the Pumpkin Ale was a very good beer with a hint of pumpkin in the background. They have a pretty extensive menu with daily specials. There is live entertainment on Saturday nights. This is a no-smoking brewpub. We parked on the street; there is also parking after 5 pm in the public lot across the street.

This was my first visit to Riverside Brewery(hit it two nights in a row). They had a wide range of beers available on tap or to go via growler. Weiss, Porter, Nut Brown Ale, seasonal, etc. The food menu was diverse, there were nightly specials, and prices were very reasonable. I'll surely be back the next time I'm in town on business. And I'd also be interested in coming when they have live entertainment.
