We were on a driving/ brewhopping trip and were really looking forward to this stop. Was thirty or so miles south of Missoula but we figured worth the trip. Well what can i say. dissappointing, well yes that would do it. Nice enough looking place, kind of what we like in a Brewpub. Not upscale like the new trendy places but what we like. Laidback. The beertender who we recognized from the website was so busy playing with her i-pad or i-phone that i thought she was never going to come over and wait on us. oh did imention that the place was virtually empty at the time? She finally cameover and asked us what we wanted, served it and then went back to her i-pad. The Ale`s were nothing that you would remember and what else can i say about the service? My advice would be to skip this place and head down the road to Hamilton and checkout Bitterroot Brewing.

Pam, Mike and the crew have done a great job converting the old blacksmith shop into a first class brewery in the heart of the oldest town in Montana. A slight industrial theme which complements the buildings history and their image. They have been open for about six months now. Pretty straight forward: good beer (blonde, IPA, pale (favorites)), nice atmosphere, excellent service. Good selection of gear. Open seven days a week. Great stop if your are road tripping or out bar hopping....
