This establishment is an oasis in a state with legislation that has made it about 10 years behind the culture of craft beer.

This company is successful because of the people who own and operate this business. They are committed to their product, and to spreading the culture of beer to the area. Their service and knowledge is litterally top notch!

This business is more than a beer store, they promote beer events with local breweries and bars in the area to provide access to beer festivals and cask events including bars that, not 5 years ago, was only offering the american domestics.

Their selection is fantastic, their prices are more than fair, and events are always a hit! This retailer along with the COAST brewing company have litterally caught the lowcountry up on the craft beer revolution.

If you like beer, and you are in Charleston, SC, then you simply must visit this place!!

With 9 taps for filling growlers they always have a good selection of beers for fresh drinking.
Usually at least a couple local COAST beers and regular announcements of what is going to be on tap every week. The bottled selection is even more diverse with some of the more limited run beers from breweries local and all over the country. Their international selection takes up the rest of the room of the small traditional Charleston shop.
The prices are high though. If you can afford spending parts of your income on beer, but since they are downtown this is understandable. If you enjoy spending you money on the best beer, this store is for you. Chances are they have what you are looking for.
The Staff are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, they are very excited to be selling such great beers.
