This pizza joint in Greensboro is worth a stop, it is one of my favorite places in the Triad. They serve (tap) only NC breweries (Duck-Rabbit, Natty Green's, Foothill, etc.) and use only NC ingredients in their food. The clay over pizza is great, fresh, clean, and they use only the highest quality of ingredients. The place is kind of small, but has outdoor seating. It can get a bit loud inside at times, but that would be my only complaint. All in all, this is good stop for some local beer and some great clay over pizza.

Sticks and Stones is another great neighborhood restaurant/bar in Greensboro.

Neil, the owner, has done a nice job of making Sticks a more family friendly place by not allowing smoking. He also does not offer liquor.

The draft list is all NC breweries and is made up of selections from Natty Greene's, Foothills, Highland and Duck Rabbit. There is also a wide selection of canned beers, including Young's Double Chocolate and Dale's.

The clay oven pizza is outstanding and unlike any other you will find in the area.

Rather you are taking your family out to dinner, meeting a group of friends or going on a date, Sticks and Stones is a great place to grab a pint and some pizza.

Sticks and Stones is a new clay oven pizza place on the corner of Walker and Elam avenues. The concept here is pie made with ingredients from local, organic producers or sustainable growers. This is in the old Wild Magnolia location. Owner Neil has done a very nice job renovating the place and creating a warmer, more inviting space than what Wild Mag had been.

There are twelve beers on-tap. In keeping with the theme, all are from NC. This is a great idea, I just wish the selection were more diverse. The taps are divided like this: 4 Natty Greene's, 4 Highland, 2 Duck-Rabbit, and 2 Foothills. Natty's is on-tap all over Greensboro, including across the street at LFPS and Fishbone's (Neil's other place). I believe Natty's Wildflower Wit might be on at three places on this corner. On the upside, $3.50 is a reasonable price for a pint and D-R has been woefully under-represented on-tap in GSO. One strange note, there is a cooler with some BMC and crappy imports that seems out of place.

I've heard some people rave about the pizza here. I thought it was good, but you pay too much for the concept, IMO. I'll drop in from time to time to check out the taps. I'll eat at Lindley Park Filling Station or Fishbone's.
