What can I say about Mammoth Brewing Company? First off they have two locations that server as the brewery. The brewery is located at Whiskey Creek Restaurant. Downstairs is a nice dining location and upstairs is more of bar. They often have live music for your enjoyment. At Whiskey Creek you are able to get most of Mammoth’s beers off the tap. You can also get bar snacks and a limited menu for the restaurant downstairs.

However, if you’re passing through town and just want to sample Mammoth’s fine selection of beers their office and tap room are located across the street in a small warehouse. I would highly suggest stopping by and saying hello. At the tap room they have an excellent assortment of beers. I believe that the last time I stopped by they had 10 beers on tap to sample. They range for the Golden Trout up to a wonderful Charley Wine. They also offer root beer for the little ones if you feel like bringing them. Aside for the excellent beers and great conversation the best part of sampling at Mammoth is that it’s free! I haven’t gotten that at many breweries.

If you headed down highway 395 and pass by Mammoth Lakes stop by the Mammoth Brewing Company. It will be well worth the time.

Small little tap room off the brewery itself. Samples of all the brewery's offerings are available as well as bombers,six-packs,cases,shirts,sweaters etc. Very nice people, we had a good conversation about their beer and my past disappointment in their IPA with sage used as one of the ingredients. Then I was given a sample of their fresh IPA and was shown that I must have tried some old IPA because this was very tasty. Doppelbock, the 2 IPAs, Charleywine are definately worth stopping in for when in Mammoth.

Mammoth Brewing Company does not have food service but it is located right below Whiskey Creek and it’s brews are served at many area restaurants. The brewery store and office are located across the street from the brewery. I didn’t see a tasting area.
This time of year (summer) Whiskey Creek is open for dinner only. We got lunch down the road at Angels (Sierra Park Rd at Main St) which features Mammoth brews on tap. I enjoyed the Amber, IPA and Double Nut Brown (as well as the food).
