Probably the closest in spirit to what US beer drinkers imagine the "pub" to be like. Located in retrofitted 1950's gas station in a residential neighboorhood, the owner/publican is always behind the bar. The crowd is local, this is probably the place some get their coffee on the way to work and their beer at the end of the day. About a dozen taps, all craft beer, with at least half the taps continually rotating through interesting beers of all styles and strenths. Owner is clearly a hophead, IPA and Pale Ale do dominante the draft list. Food is good, with big interesting hamburger creations being the highlight for me (Try the Rancor!) There is a cask setup, I am not sure if he always has something on it or not, but it has been pouring at least half the time I have been in the bar.
