Sparky’s is a sports bar and grill, located in the far corner of a shopping area, back from the highway. There is a large O-shaped casino bar surrounded by tall tables. The adjacent dining is tall tables and stools but there is also a pit in front of the large screen TVs with comfy leather couches and chairs. There are about 16 taps that are predominantly craft brews with 4 or 5 BMCs or imports thrown in. New Belgium Skinny Dip was the featured beer but I also enjoyed Buckbean Orange Blossom and got my first taste of Shock Top White from AB and PT’s Sierra Gold (contract by Gordon Biersch). The menu includes a good selection of pizza, wraps, wings, sandwiches and burgers. It’s family friendly with several pool tables, arcade games and ample parking in the lot.
