linkFassla, what a wonderful place. I have visited the Bamberg area about 6 times now and I always love to stop/stay at Fassla. In the last year or so smoking has been banned in public buildings so Fassla notorious for chokingly heavy smoke is now clean breathing.
There are great hotel rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor and they have the very rare parking lot for hotel guests. It is also walking distance to the Bahnhof(train station). Just across the street is Spezial and one 'could' hunker down and just drink at these to places for some serious research...
Fruhstuk(breakfast) here is great as well...
