linkaka "The Creamery Brewpub and Grill"
Updated: A nice U shaped bar in the large main room. Some side counter seating and many tables. Several TVs plus a projection system for big events. There is also a separate dining room with tables and booths plus a large outdoor patio.
13 taps with 11 house brews including some seasonals. Also a house made rootbeer. I liked the Amarillo Ale and Drop Dead Red but the Cabin Fever Stout Float I had for desert was sensational.
The menu included some unusual items as well as normal pub fare with reasonable prices. The light fare menu included some great dinner items that really satisfied. The waitress was knowledgeable and very attentive plus the manager stopped by to make us welcome. There is a small lot but we usually find parking on the street.

linkFirst Brewery I have ever been to that seels Party Pigs ($22.95) as well as growlers. Also have homemade Root Beer. The Hefe has smoky notes and banana and clove with balance more toward cloves but a nice beer. The sampler I had was $8 and included generour portions of all their beers, 10 in all. The Crater Lake Golden Ale was very nice. The potato skins were thick and very good. The clam chowder had large chunks of potato and was good. The pale Bock is somewhat dark for style with caramel notes . the Drop Dead Red has notes of chocolate malt but light.The Buttcrack Brown is light with light hop notes and a creamy finish. The portside Porter is robust with moderate high bitterness. the fries are homemade with skins on. The burgers are big with thick hand made patties. Whitney was our server and she was pretty and very nice.

linkArrived week of 5/19/08 during a West Coast trip. Parking seemed limited. Large bar and dining area, complete with a fireplace with sofa and chairs. Clear view of brewing equipment visible right from the bar/dining area. Enjoyed both their Pilsner and Hefe, which complemented an excellent and reasonably priced pulled pork sandwich. Very attentive wait staff. Steady flow of business on a Thurs. night. Would say this is worth a look.
