linkA brewpub located in the UNESCO-heritage-listed Suomenlinna Island Fortress, right by the main ferry pier. The fortress is best visited during summer, but the brewpub keeps open around the year.
The quality of the beers has improved a lot during the latest years, as has the assortment.
The food is usually good quality, Scandinavian with some Russian spice. In some courses they use the brewerys beers to give an extra zing.
The ferry to Suomenlinna leaves from the Market Square (Kauppatori). Small hop, 15-20 minutes.
You can find Suomenlinna beers in some mainland pubs too,

linkThe Suomenlinna islands are a worthwhile excursion out of Helsinki. I wouldn't advise coming out just for the brewpub, but if you're here it's worth popping in.
The premises ranges through several ground-floor rooms and includes a full restaurant and a small outside terrace.
The beer is so-so: a few standard styles of medium strength made competently. Way better than most of what passes for beer in Finland, but nothing to write home about.
There are plenty of worse ways of passing the time before your boat back to Helsinki.
