The service was extremely disappointing. Had to flag our waiter down every time we needed anything during our visit. Had to even have the hostess go searching for him twice. They were busy but had open tables. No reason service should have been that bad. Took over 20 minutes after being seated to get beer to the table. Started with the sampler. All the beers were very drinkable. I really enjoyed their German Pale Ale and the Helles. Food was very good, although a bit pricey. I'd go back for the beer but the service was so bad this time I don't know if we'll be back.

stop here for lunch while passing thru..nice little ton on the river wouldn't expect to see a brewpub.

I had the sampler 5 beers and one root beer Helles, Wiessen, Marzen, Pils and Dunkel. All were good dunkel stood out as did the pils. No guest taps or cask that I was aware of. nice big bar with plenty of seating inside and out.

Food ws good basic sandwichs and stuff on the lunch menu, good selection of different burgers I had the "sleepy old man" had a fried egg on it which seems to be gaining in popularity these days.

All in all nice little gem in an area not noted for its beer. I would go back again if in the area.

A rather new brewpub; definately a new concept to the region for sure.
Just starting to get off the ground operation, the atmosphere of this brewpub is outstanding. Very open with glass windows on three sides, the ceiling open to expose the wood timbers of a historicly interesting building.

Admittedly I haven't tried the food (yet), however the selection looks fantastic in glancing at the menu. Food for all sorts.

Their beers are just coming on-line, with a wheat beer, American-style, being served presently. A light tasting wheat with an earthy finish (hops selection no doubt). There is a lager coming soon that shows excellent promise.

Tours are available upon asking.

Prices - I'd consider them moderate for the region. Little higher end on the food though.

OK, I've been back and things have changed - for the better! Now there's 4 beers and a rootbeer available. I've tried the food - excellent.

Last time I was there, on tap was a Wheat, Amber, Helles and a Dunkel. The new brewmaster, Jacob Simmons, has some great recipes going on there. The wheat is nothing like my earlier review, this one is much more "German" in nature. The Amber is a smooth drinker. The Helles, excellent, as is the Dunkel. Overall, my choice for a second round would be the Dunkel, although I like darker beers.
