This family friendly location is one of my favorites for bringing the kids along. Order up their hot s'mores for dessert and the kids will love you, or your hot date. Make sure to check their website for the schedule of beer schools which are available almost once a month and the classes are instructed by Rich the brew master. JT Whitney's also boasts that kids can eat free Sunday nights too. Lots of live music and maybe a you won't find any smoking in the brewpub...all Madison business have a smoking ban-OUCH!. Tons of free parking and easy to find on the west side of Madison. Rich always has a large selection of excellent craft brews and good people to talk with here. Stop in for the mothers day brunch and bring your family. The have an excellent weekly newsletter which you can sign up to have sent to your email which includes new and existing beers on tap, a weekly beer trivia which I maintain in duplicate on my website and the newsletter talks about new events they sponsor or run like beer fest buses and more.
