linkRailway station bar with a beer list of 15 draft beers (2 handpumps for cask ale, usually in OK condition) and 30+ bottled beers. You can sometimes find the odd Finnish craft beer in the selection.
Dark furnishings around the large island bar and the high ceiling give this place almost a Gentleman's Club -feel.
The clientele is mostly travellers and people hanging around at the station for one reason or another.
The bar staff has some experts on beer, but also some who treat beer with indifference.
Small snacks, sausages, meatballs and toasts for the hungry.
Belongs to the train caterer Avecra, which has other bars as well at the Railway Station. The Minuuttibaari in the waiting hall has too a good beer list.

linkA true oddity, this one. When I followed the signs inside the railway station and up the stairs I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was amazing: a huge, beautifully appointed, English-style pub furnished in the manner of a gentleman's club with comfy chairs and plenty of table room for your newspaper. You'll find hand pumped English ale and a cask ale produced (or perhaps just badged) specially for the pub.
Don't come here while you're waiting for your train out of the city; it deserves a full proper visit. Several, in fact.
