Tucked into a side of the store behind a free standing aisle of wine is the beer selection. When I was there (Dec '07 and Jan '08) it looked really picked over and I noticed some empty six and four packs for beers that weren't shelved. I asked the guy at the counter and he said Taste Unlimited was revamping their beer section and would only re-order what sold quickly. At the current time, they were not re-ordering anything so that they could whittle away the selection and start fresh. Some beers were abnormally high (like 7.50 for a 16.9oz Aventinus) and some were low (like 1.50 for an 11.2oz Duchess de Bourgogne). My guess is that they have the beers inaccurately stickered but they don't care since they are phasing out all the rarities and moving to a more mainstream market.

On a side note, the wine selection was above average and they had some gems collecting dust on their shelves that they don't even know they have - else they would have moved them front and center and raised the price like everyone else.
