linkPelican Tavern is located in the American Tin Cannery outlet complex (I always thought an outlet mall would be an ideal brewpub location). You can enter from the street or there is validated parking in the ATC lot just up the hill and you can ride the escalator down to the inside mall entrance. There is a fair size bar plus additional tall and standard tables for dining. Eleven beers were on tap when I visited, including 3 craft brews from English Ales Brewery just up the road. There were also several imports and regional crafts with only one macro from Bud. I enjoyed the EA Dragon Slayer IPA and a Spanish Peaks Black Dog. The reasonably priced menu includes typical pub fair plus build your own deli sandwiches and several entrees.
