I was headed up the coast and stopped in Monterey for a bite to eat and drink. I saw the listing for the Crown and Anchor on here, but there was no review, so I took a chance. The place has the feel of a real English pub. They had models of English sailing ships and a lot of nautical stuff everywhere! The beer selection was great with around 20 drafts to choose from including "Old Speckled Hen" and "Boddingtons Scotch Ale" just to name a few. The friend I went there with and I had outstanding meals. He had the pork ribs and I had a steak. Both were just awesome and the service was knowledgable and very good.
