As of 2011, Iron Hill has 8 brewpubs in the DE-PA-NJ tri-state area. I am impressed this chain hasn't lost touch with its craft microbrewery roots, because the brewmasters each have autonomy to constantly invent bold new recipes. I almost always find a new brew when I go into any Iron Hill, and I have tasted almost 200 different Iron Hill beers over the past several years! Their selection has excellent variety, and they usually have 12+ well-crafted beers on tap. I highly recommend visiting any Iron Hill brewpub to try a sampler! The Lancaster, PA location is another college-town location, and finding valid parking was tricky.

I stopped here back in march of 08 and did not review it. (made a few notes) I have been to a few Iron Hills and each time it seems like they get better with there seasonal offerings.

there regular line up of beers is good but always looking for that "great seasonal or speciality" there food has always been good and that was the case at this location. All tho it was crowed when I was there near a college i believe. Also the interior of this one was little more upscale then the others i have been to.

Definitely worth a stop!

I've been to a few Iron Hills and this one is the most expensive. The location of it allows for this though...I don't recommend visiting on the weekends with out reservations. The place is always busy. The beer choices are very good and the head brewer is always available to discuss any ideas one might have. The food here is out of this world, I take a lot of my business clients here when they come into town and everyone loves the beers. Growlers and bottles to-go however are a bit expensive. If you are looking for a high-end brew pub I recommend visiting here...please note this is only at this location.
