linkAnother fine example of McMenamins preserving a local landmark. Once you get past the classic façade and front entry, the central feature is a long J-shaped copper topped bar but it is surrounded by tables, open and private booths, confessionals, pool tables, and historic photos/posters. The brews are primarily McMenamins standards with some purportedly brewed on site in a small open brewery. They also have an extensive selection of cigars displayed behind the bar. We found parking on the street but there are public parking lots nearby.

linkMcMenamins took the old Spar CafΓ© in Olympia Washington and turned it into another awesome place for beers and food. There are about 15 taps and all McMenamins beers. The food was good and the old bar looked very well, the staff was typical McMenamins and they know the beer pretty good but are as lazy as ever. When will McMenamins ever hire decent workers? If you like rustic this is the place. There are pool tables in the back and the old bar and cigars are fun to look at. This will be another great beer place for Olympia.
