This is a popular restaurant located right across the road from Kailua Beach park. The entry is into a small enclosed dining area with a medium size bar on the right and additional table seating at the back. The primary dining area is on a covered front patio with openings looking out onto the road and beach. There is a relatively short bottle list of mostly local brews but I was happy to find a 1941 Black Lager from Home of the Brave Brewing (opening soon in Honolulu). The food menu is pretty typical tropical for lunch with salads & burgers including some seafood selections. The dinner menu is more upscale with meat and seafood entrees and a salad bar. There is some parking along the canal adjacent to the restaurant as well as in the park across the street.
