Can't offer much more info to this Avery praise page. Avery's makes some of the best beer in the U.S. and if you can get in here and taste the Maharaja from the teet than you are doing alright in life. To be honest the bar is nothing too special and is generally busy but, the staff are great and very knowledgable. But really, it's ll about the beer. The Kaiser, The Beast, etc. They kick ass, great out the bottle, great out the tap. Avery's is a must stop if visiting the Boulder area, it's the best beer in town and top 3 in the state.

Visited recently on a Friday at noon during GABF. Not really a good choice since the pre-GABF crowd was there preparing for the beer festival. Still, a good time was had by all. There are several tables and benches inside and outdoors to enjoy a beer. It was a great day, sunny and about 75 degrees. Perfect for sitting outside. We stood in line for about 15 minutes before the staff divided up the food ordering line from the beer ordering line. Once we chose our samples to try we went outside and grabbed a table. Soon there was an outside server taking additional orders so we ordered more beer. Despite the GABF crowd that made things a little hectic, everything was excellent – especially the beers. I can’t wait to go back.

Avery rocks. Go there.
Unfortunately I need 75 words, so I guess I'll talk about them some more. Their tap room is great. They always have something different and experimental on tap, and it's always great. I've been a few times and they've always had something different. Avery makes some of the biggest and most delicious beers in the country, and having them fresh is a real treat. They also give a pretty good tour, and occasionally they'll take you into the barrel room, which is sweet. Anyone who likes beer and is in Boulder for any reason would be a fool to miss this place.

Truly an awesome tasting room, and also had a limited grill selection outside in conjunction with GABF. Had about 30 beers cycling for the week leading up to GABF including a number of aged selections. Expect high ABV for beers from Avery as they mix and match and age to perfection. They had a few on tap not offered in bottles including Voltron which was a hoppy darker beer that packed a super punch. The imperial stout and dry hopped IPA were also excellent not bottled selections. Samples are generous and only $1-$2 depending on the ABV.
Also had a live band and outside games available.

Visited Avery while on vacation. The brewery is a little hard to find, tucked away in an industrial park, but well worth it to track it down. The free tour was great and the guide was knowledgeable about their beers and the brewing process as well. The tasting room had over 10 beers to try including 2 on cask. Staff was very knowledgeable about the beers. Very tasty brews coming out of Avery. Definitely worth a trip. There also was free live music as well.

their beer is top notch, hard to beat and they have a real nice selection in the tasting room, i think they have about 10 beers on tap and others in bottles. you get 5 good sized samplers and then if you wish you can buy more pints. the staff were cool and the tap room was nice but the facilities aren't the prettiest and they're kinda making the best of where they're at. the tour guide mentioned that they were looking for a new location in boulder for the fairly near future. i really enjoy the dry hopped ipa and the porter.

A hidden gem, located in an industrial area of Boulder. Not a bar but does have a small tasting room where you can drink the wonderful beers for free. The beers are wonderful. They have a great selection ranging from very high alcohol beers and oak aged beers to everyday session type beers. Adam Avery himself stopped in and said hello when we visited. If touring Boulder you must hit this place as well as Redstone Meadery which isn't far away.

As far as beer, it really doesn't get much better than this. We took the tour of taps and loved each one. Hog Heaven is one of the most drinkable (so much great hops) Barleywines I've ever head (prior to this visit) and on tap it was amazing. Great staff, Great beer, smart growth w/in their complex.
All I can say is thank goodness I can get their bottles (MMM...Maharaja) in Cincinnati, or I'd rack up some serious frequent flyer miles going to Denver/Boulder.

man, i love the beers that these guys make. the wife and i wandered in on a thursday afternoon about 4pm, and caught the brew crew slamming some back in the tasting room. got to meet adam avery (nice guy) and greg the tasting room guy was very cool. yelled at me for sticking my head in the blowoff bucket from one of the big tanks (couldn't help it...habitual airlock sniffer). they have some amazing beers, and were nice enough to bring out some of their "demons of ale" series, as well as their madly-hopped "super hog" (a version of hog heaven with an unGodly amount of hops). go!
they had cask ale when i was there, and about a month later when a buddy of mine went as well.
