linkThe newest branch of the Porterhouse chain started out in life as a brash Tex Mex cocktail bar. The new management have smoothed a few of its rough edges, but it's still the most cavernous and boisterous Porterhouse (saving possibly the one in London), despite also being the smallest.
It has the same decent food menu and extensive beer list as the other branches, with the emphasis on the Porterhouse's own brews, all of which are on draught, as well as occasional seasonals and guests.
As a place to spend the evening drinking, it's not recommended; but for a pint and a quick bite on the hoof it's hard to beat in this part of town. And as a place to rest up while the other half attacks Grafton Street with the Visa card (or vice versa, rather), it's a lifesaver.
