My brother and I visited the Keystone Bar late in the afternoon and into the evening on a Saturday in late October. The bar is located immediately in past the main entrance. The bar itself is a dark wood, with an classic looking backbar. HD TV's are located in strategic, but not intrusive locations. It's an elegant looking front room.

There are about 7 taps at the bar. Schlafly Wheat, Bell's Double Cream Stout, Bell's Winter White, and Maudite were on draft this visit. Selections will vary, but will be high quality. Bottle selection is also very good.

We didn't eat a meal, but ordered a couple appetizers during our stay. The potato skins and chicken fingers were both excellent. The most entriging entre is "Damned Chicken" - chicken marinated in Maudite. When I return, I must try that.

Our bartenders were top notch. Samples were offered of any beer we wanted to try. They were friendly and helpful. They knew we weren't locals, but made us feel right at home.

The Keystone bar is located at the foot of the Suspension Bridge in Covington right across the river from downtown Cincinnati. If you're staying in downtown, take the TANK to Covington, it runs til midnight on weekends.
