Typical Irish bar. Beer selection focuses around English/Irish imports (Guinness, Harp, Smithwick's, Boddington's, etc.), plus a Goose Island seasonal, Fat Tire bottles, and some other selections. Nothing outstanding, but decent choices for the discerning beer drinker. The food is very good and reasonably priced, easy access from the Metra Burlington Northern line, and parking is free and generally easy to come by. Service is typically very friendly, but tends to deteriorate when the place gets very busy. Friday nights are very crowded as the locals tend to congregate for all-you-can-eat fish and chips night (the fish is good, the chips could be better). Music on Wednesdays (I think - could be Mondays), Trivia nights on Tuesdays. If in the area, this is a good place to head to for food and drink, and since it is family friendly, not a bad stop after an afternoon at nearby Brookfield Zoo.
