This brewery has an open ceiling with wood beams with brick columns. The first beer I had was an Orange Honey Wheat with very light crisp aroma and a light straw color. light malt and honey flavor and somewhat dry with enough hops to balance, a good beer. Next I had a Hefe which was Golden in color and cloudy but very light if any banana and clove aspect. The flavor of this beer was malty but nonedescript with some moderate hops to balance but it had some very slight sourness and was basically an uninteresting beer. UNO Mas is somewhat sour with not much aroma, cloudy and unfiltered version of a Mexican lager, a Corona type clone but with moderate malt and mouthfeel, no diacetyl or corn. This pilsner is clear and yellow with a thin white head, floral aroma with light malt and moderate hop bitterness. A light version of this style buy a great beer considering Utah's archaic beer strength laws. McGees Red has some sweet crystal malt aroma and is clear with deep copper color. Crystal Malt flavor with hops to balance and a medium mouthfeel and some malt creaminess. This is a good beer in the Amber style. Rockwell Porter has some light chocolate malt aroma and flavor followed by medium light bitterness. It has a medium light brown color with hints of copper, another light for style beer. Little Pips Brown is dark brown but clear with notes of mahogany. Light tan aroma and a creamy tan head. Medium hop bitterness and some slight astringency from roasted malt is ok for style. A crisp clean beer! Madame X Stout has a creamy tight full tan head and is very black in color. Light coffee aroma and a creamy mouthfeel much like an English Stout. Some light roasted malt with just slight atringency, ok for style and fits the Utah brewing laws while still making a good beer. This is a good Brewery but a little out of the way and if I had to cut my trip short this would be the Brewery I would skip.

By far my favorite beer place in the Salt Lake City area. The beer is great and the food is amazing. It's a relaxed atmosphere, and it's enjoyable just to sit back, have a few beers, and talk to friends or family. It's also a family friendly environment. The staff there is great. They sell their beer in take-home growlers, so the fun doesn't have to end when you leave the restaurant! I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
A nice place this was just down the road from my old rival high school so it was fun to see. The place was like all other brewpubs with the bricked walls and huge copper tank in the window. The beers where decent the servers knew a little and the food was pretty good. This was a fun place to visit on our trip of Utah breweries.
