This was a rare find... A brewery that serves breakfast and craft beer!

It worked out perfectly as we had camped at Pismo beach the night before and where quite hungry for breakfast. They had 5 beers brewed at that time, I thought their IPA was very good. All their beers where lower alcohol content(4-5%).

We read about the brewer on the menu and it said he worked for Firestone Walker, although we didn't think they tasted too similar to firestone beer.

To my disappointment they did not have a pint glass to sell, but instead a coffee mug, It's a cool looking mug, so I'm not complaining.

This is an all-in-one place to go, they even had an upstairs club for the later hours. Great out door seating, and plenty of room inside. We sat at the bar in front of a large flat screen TV.

I would probably come back, more for the food and atmosphere, then for the beer.

I like finding a brewpub that serves full breakfasts. The main floor is a pleasant mix of diner and casual lounge. There is a corner bar across from the counter dining area as well as tables and a couple couches by an interior fireplace. A larger dining area with tables and booths separates the bar from an outside patio with an open BBQ. The upper floor has a larger bar and stage for entertainment but I didn’t check it out. There were six taps at the downstairs bar with 5 house standards and a seasonal. I enjoyed their Midnight Porter with breakfast as well as tasting Opal (their seasonal from Firestone Walker). The menu includes typical breakfast, lunch and dinner selections as well as several “South of the Border” items. There is plenty of free parking in their lot.
