Great selection, but beers are stored warm and bottles are slow to sell. Beware IPAs that have been on shelf for 12+ months. If you know seasonals or visit often, you can find the fresher beers here, but I have bought several bottles and been very disappointed by their aged flavor. Probably a good place to find Barleywines, though.

If they would keep more beers in the coolers and keep track of inventory and try to run specials on the bottles that are getting old, this would be a premier destination.

I had the privilege of visiting the store today. From the exterior it looks like any other Indy liquor store, with the exception of the sign which promises "Biggest Specialty Beer Selection". After visiting inside I have to say they met the signs saying!!! Inside, the place is packed and cramped, floor to ceiling. The shelves were 6 high and isles of micro brews plus cooler spaces! The lady behind the counter was most helpful. There is a baffling array of beer here, but much of it appears to be quite old. I made my own six pack of micros and found out that they stock over 2100 different types of beer! DAMN. This place is my new favorite liquor store in Indy! Come check it out for yourself! You will be come a believer...

I've found no other liqour store in the Indianapolis area with a selection like Party Pak. I grew up less than half a mile from this place and never new what a huge beer selection they had. I always thouhg to f it as a dive. That being said the atmosphere isn't much to talk about. Most of their beers are not in coolers, although there is still a fine selection of cold beers.

Amazing beer selection, probably the best in the city. Things can be a little disorganized and bottles with dust on them are common. They have a couple aisles of beers with ratings on them now, which is pretty cool. They also keep a good stock of hard to find beers. Last year we found about 8 bottles of Kentucky Breakfast Stout a week after the release date. We were nice and only bought one, but it certainly was a shock! They'll let you build your own six-pack or just buy individual bottles if you want. It's a pretty laid back, run-of-the-mill liquor store with decent prices and a very surprising beer selection.

The atmosphere is nothing to write home about and the beer aisles are littered with cases of stuff not yet on the shelves. They're simply too big for the building they're in. Kind of like Kahn's used to be with wine. Most of the staff is fairly knowledgeable and honest about the beer. On Fridays and Saturdays they do tasting which is pretty nice.

Even though we live downtown we still make the trek down here for our premium beer runs.
