Parking in the area was difficult. Street parking is limited and I had to drive around the block a couple of times before finding a parking garage about a block away.

The bartender was friendly and was effectively taking care of the bar by himself. Meanwhile, someone else (the owner, I presume) spent most of his time watching a sports game, checking his phone for score updates, and talking to one of the customers about sports. I'm not sure what he contributed, but it wasn't very professional.

I tried a sampler of the following:
Elmes Mild Manor: Decent english mild
Galactic Amber: More like an IPA than an Amber. Pleasant level of hops, for an IPA, though.
New Moon Double IPA: Fine, but not so much my thing
Black O'Lantern Pumpkin Stout: I was hoping for much better. It was ok, but basically pumpkin spices in a an otherwise ok stout.

Went to Harvest Moon Brewery tonight for dinner and was really impressed! I had two of the beers, the Jimmy D’s Firehouse Red and the Belgian Dark Strong Ale. Both were great beers, but I really liked the Belgian Dark Strong Ale because it had cheery, fig, and blackberry scent. I strongly recommend that beer. The had a total of 6 beers on draft from the brewery.

The food was fantastic! I had the Moon salad, Honey-Roasted Chicken, and the Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. They had a deal where you could get all three for $25. The food was outstanding and I was very happy with the flavor and the quality.

If you have the opportunity, I would recommended stopping in for beer and food from Harvest Moon.

Harvest Moon has an interesting atmosphere. When you first walk in, you're struck by how little seating there is. The space doesn't lend itself to adding to the seating, so you can empathize with their predicament. They have a second floor, but it appears to be closed if they don't have the staff to support it. The food was good enough and the beer was of good quality. It's a little inaccessible if you're driving, but seems to be a walk-in traffic location mostly. We ended up waiting what seemed like a disproportionate amount of time for the number of people that were actually there.

The only brewpub in New Brunswick, this place has some year-round offerings which are generally similar to macro offerings, and some pretty good seasonals that come and go. Overall though, I feel the beer is rushed (this is a college town/bar) and tastes a little young, not fully matured/developed. Also they only offer their own beer and Coors Light. The building they are located in is pretty cool, but the layout makes sure it gets crowded quickly.
