As with most places in Athens, this place is not huge and doesn't boast a big tap-list, but what it does have is well-chosen and quality. They have 6 taps that (upon my last visit) consisted of Stella (the only crap one), Victory Whirlwind Wit, St Bernardus Abt 12, Left Hand Milk Stout, Terrapin Rye Pale Ale, and Sierra Nevada Pale. In the recent past, they've had Sierra Nevada Harvest, Oskar Blues Gordon, and Prima Pils on also. Their bottle list probably has around 25-30 beers on it of which approximately 2/3 is craft beer.

Service is good here. The servers are pretty knowledgeable about the food and are fairly prompt. I did have one bartender recently that couldn't tell me what they had on draft (you can't really see the handles at all unless you're right in the corner of the bar) and said they had something "like homebrew" and then said it was "just like Stella." Turns out he was confused and was talking about 2 different beers - SN Harvest and Prima Pils. ;) I still chuckle when I wonder what homebrewed Stella is supposed to taste like.

Atmosphere is nice. Since this place is all about locally-grown organics, it definitely has an earthy vibe. Speaking of the food, it's very good. I haven't eaten here too many times, but the times I've been my meal has always been simple, but flavorful. All of the ingredients I've ever had have been fresh and quality. You can read about it on their website, but they actually own a farm and grow a large portion of what they cook on that farm.

While most probably think that Five and Ten is the best place in Athens purely for the food, Farm 255's beer selection absolutely destroys Five and Ten's. This is probably the best place in town to enjoy really good beer (and a good selection of it) along with really good food.
