Stopped here today on the way to Perrot State Park.

Side entrance with "liquor" emblazoned on the building in big red letters. Similar layout to Oak Creek, where you have to walk throuh the checkout immediately past the entrance. Long open cooler on the left side of the store, that runs the full length and wraps around the back. First up were mixed singles, bombers, and import singles. Unique to this location was a stack of "Beer Man's Wisconsin" guides about local beer culture, which was cool to see. Next were macro imports and malternative junk, which was a disconnect from the extensive craft sixers further down.

Selection was good, though I didn't find what I was looking for: dancing man, central waters seasonals, lake louie (only coon rock ). Still there was unique stuff like big hole from montana, locals like pearl st., etc. Alpha King was here, but no other FFF. Decent if not a little spotty selection wise.

At the register the guy was quick. Noticed old timers buying cases of Hamms Light, Old Style, and Lost Lake. Close to the highway which is convenient, with plenty of parking as usual.

I actually kind of hate to say it, but all the Woodman's I have been to seem to be pretty much the same.
The store is a really huge "big box" grocery store that has a beer department that is really a store within a store.
The layout is pretty much the same as Madison's East or West locations. The beer store is set around the corner to the right of the main entrance. Along the left wall there is a decent selection of cold imports, followed by a variety of cold craft and microbrews from across the country. At the rear of the store there is a decent selection of local and regional beers all cold.
I usually travel with several large coolers when I'm in Wisconsin so the cold beer is not a big turnoff for me.

The only Woodman's location that I remember being any different was the one in Janesville and the only difference was the color scheme. The exterior is black and white there.
