My wife and I tried this place after reading good reviews online. The IPA was the only beer I tried, and it was pretty good but WAY overpriced. We ordered a couple of pizzas, and after waiting for 40 minutes, were served a couple of ugly little pizzas that were so overdone they were blackened, not only the crust but the cheese as well! Why on earth would you serve your customers burnt food? Since we weren't going to wait another 40 minutes, we ate what we could of these lousy pizzas and vowed to never go back!

This is a great small brewery with a very good selection of beers. They are in the process of moving brewing opperations down the street due to space limitations. The current brew pub will stay open. We sampled the wheat and the lager can't miss on these. I have had the stout and it was a 9 out of 10. I would have got a Growler to go but they were out ,my loss. Grand Lake is a great stop on the way over trail ridge road. They are open all year.

Colorado Road Trip – 2006
A great little brewpub in Grand Lake Colorado. On the West side of the Rocky Mountain National park this little brewery was awesome. The beer was great and the food was also just as good. The brewer was there he talked and had lots to say. It was a great time and we will be back to Grand Lake Colorado some day. The brewery was a not miss on this trip.

I tried the Grand Lake Brewery while on a seven day motorcycle tour of Colorado, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Just a small "hole-in-the-wall" establishment, GLB sits on the main street of town and crafts some suprisingly good brews. I jumped on the Stumpjumper IPA...then jumped on another! I'm an IPA fan and I rank this one well. I had several taste tests and the Plaid Bastard scotch ale and the Rebel Pale Ale stood out.

Service was great, the best of the trip. we had an enjoyable conversation with the owner and a brewmaster, and came away with an appriciation of this brewer.

Annoynaces: It's small, but actually, that didn't bother me too bad!

Nestled in this old western style tourist trap town, Grand Lake Brewing Company is a good stop for a thirsty beer lover.

This is a small location with a few bar stool tables out front, a medium sized bar along the side and stairs out the back which lead you to an outdoor fenced in patio. I wasn't that excited about this brewpubs' location which seems cramped but its family friendly menu, excellent craft brewed beers and outstanding service topped the list! I was pleased to see that the Grand Lake Brewing Company offers a Barley Wine for myself and their homemade root beer seemed somewhat watered down and boring. The town of Grand Lake boasts the southern most entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park with tons of excellent short hikes and other western style saloons.
