The Service and prices are outstanding. 8 times out of 10, you can't find cheaper prices and Micheal is really working to get a great selection of beer, a must stop if you're in the area and they're open. He's usually more than happy to set stuff aside for you if you'll pick it up within a reasonable amount of time.

Their hours are pretty bad if you're working days and aren't relatively close to the area, but they are open until 7 on Thursday through Saturday now.

This is definitely one of the best stores in the area and a must stop. It's also down the street from Kuhnhen.

Champane's Wine Cellars claims to have the largest beer, wine and liquor store in Michigan and I believe it. The store is located inside an old ice arena. Unbelieveable selection of wine and impressive liquor display. The beer section encompessed a corner of the store and boasts 572 beers plus a rotating seasonal stock. When pricechecked on beeradvocate or ratebeer Champane's is always found to have one of the lowest, if not the lowest price in the United States. They have a large selection of current foreign and domistic craft beers. Probably will have the largest quantity of new seasonal releases but tend to sell out due to extremely low price. If you are looking for a seasonal released over 6 months ago and production has stopped, you should call first. A must stop if you are in Metro Detroit, you will save money.
