Love Highland beer, so wanted to take the tour. Called ahead since we're local and told first come, first served - no mention of 'forget it; both tours are filled' so drove over. No clues as to were to sign up. Found the guy with the clipboard and learned tours are filled. Tried for the T-shirt - $5 more than on line? Really? And only know that from the sign taped to counter, because no one around to sell you one. So...love the beer, won't go near the brewery again.

linkMust see on Asheville brew tour. Kind of a brewery tap room/brewpub. Some Food available (i think-didn't eat). Big clean space with long tables. A stage was present and a Led Zeppelin cover band was playing that night with a female lead singer-cool. However band did not play until 9 PM so wife kiboshed that idea-damn. Tried the flagship Gaelic ale-nice irish dark ale slanted to the malty side-well made. wife had stout-nice dryish and roasty. Tried the IPA-OK but miss the NW hop blast-more english in style which was common in Asheville. No samplers available-sad. They were playing lots of raggae. Great gear selection. Fun place-offices were constructed out of containers with windows cut in-again-cool. Service was courteous-but again no samplers.
