TheBeerNut's review is spot on, even if I was here four years after this review. Really, really good brews! Quite loud but there appeared to be a Bachlor Party in the back next to the tanks. Can't review the Nelson's Blood as it wasn't on tap for my hour there, either. (Sob! Have also heard off-the-hook reviews of it, too!) There are rooms above the restaurant but they appear to be difficult to get. (Think ahead, in other words!) If you're in Sydney, this is a must stop!!!

The touristy Rocks area of Sydney is full of somewhat ropey pubs where the gaming machines are more important than the drink. However, just a little bit further up the hill there's this gem of a brewpub. Very English in character, with bags of atmosphere and some damn fine beers too. There are six house brews, though the tasty Nelson's Blood isn't always available.

Oh, and they'll let you stay overnight as well, if you like. More of this kind of thing, please.
