This brewpub really seems to be phoning it in. All the beers had a similar watery homebrew quality to them. The Hefeweizen and Raging River were ok, but were similarly thin and watery. Apricot Ale was promising, but again lacked any distinctive character.

Atmosphere was a little hectic on a Saturday night, families having dinner, couples too, most were eating. Tables were close together and a bit cramped, yet one large table in the back was occupied by employees wrapping silverware. Worn wood floors and exposed brick and wood beams overhead. Some framed historical photos on the walls. Flatscreens above the bar, with baseball on. Bizarrely there were martinis and monster energy drinks pouring at the bar. Had the sampler and decided on a pint of the Apricot Ale, the rotating "brewmaster's selection". Plates going by looked decent, but we didn't try the food.

Sally was our server and she was great, really quick and friendly. We had to swap out one of the sampler glasses that was dirty, and she didn't miss a beat.

We weren't really feeling the vibe here, so we left after one round. Can't really recommend it, Great River, Bent River, and Bierstube are better places for a beer in the area.

i used to live in the quad city area and out of the 3 local brew pubs this one has the worst beer. i've only been twice and the food was average food for a brewery. i had the french dip and it was "meh". there beer is average in my opinion and not worth going out of your way for but if you're in downtown davenport then stop by. it'll be better than any of the other regular bars down there.

Located just a stone's throw from the Mississippi River, Front Street proved an enjoyable dinner spot. My Rueben w/ a cup of French onion soup was satisfying. The beer selection was a little slim, as my sampler provided me with six beers to taste, one of which was a blend of two of their beers--I'd been given a choice on the last glass, as they were out of stout, the dark spot of my day.

The beers were decent, with the hefeweizen and pale standing out. I went for a pint of the pale ale with my meal. A brown ale (brewmaster's choice/seasonal offering) was the darkest beer on the list.

The atmosphere was dark wood-in-an-old-building-charming and smoke-free. From paying attention to my waitress, as well as another, I didn't get the impression that the staff was terribly well informed on the topic of beer. However, she was pleasant, and took good care of us.

I'd never been to Davenport before, but the town had a good feel, and if I return, I'd give this place another go.
